Contacts Import Process.


In this article, we will learn how to upload contact lists using the import option. 

We will learn the correct format that Zipi requires to successfully upload the contact lists.  


Zipi allows users to import contact list the easiest way possible. This will include the following  User, Company, Vendor,  etc. 

This is a feature that Zipi has that will make sure that you are able to track all the users that you're doing business with. This is basically your Phonebook in the Zipi ecosystem.

Format (from Left to Right on the Excel spreadsheet.)

📔Note: Start on cell A1 in the spreadsheet. 

General Reminders to successfully import the contacts CSV to Zipi.

1.  Category - This will have 3 default options. 





2. When entering a name in the Name field, the Company name on the same row should be empty. Place the Company name in a separate row.


In this section, we will now learn how to import the contacts CSV file into Zipi.


1. Click Company >> Import.


 2. Click Contacts and find the CSV file.



3. After the upload process is complete. Zipi will set upload status to "Prepared."


Finally, wait for Zipi to complete the create contacts process. Once done, contacts can now be checked in the Contacts module.


We have successfully uploaded your Company's contact list via the Contacts Import Process.
