Note, this tutorial is on creating vendor credit notes. To create a credit note for your clients, see the guide here.
Go to Purchases > Vendor Credits.
Click the Create button.
Select from the options:
a. The Vendor and their Vendor Number if you have one.
b. A Reference Number, if you are referencing another document, such as an underpaid invoice.
c. The Date.
d. And the Description of the Item and Amount you are creating a credit note for.
4. Click Create.
You have now completed creating your vendor credit note.
