The reason users can connect a bank to Zipi Banking module is to eliminate the need to upload or enter transactions manually. If a bank is not listed then the user will need to enter by hand each bank transaction, or import bank statement CSV files manually.
Importing bank transactions allows you to reconcile your Zipi Account with Bank Statements. The Bank Feed functionality automates the import of these transactions.
Which banks are supported?
Zipi's banking module supports most major banks, which can be found when beginning the connection process.
If a bank is not listed as an option in Banking > Bank Feed popup then we do not have a relationship with the bank to pull the transactions automatically and the end-user will need to import them manually.
Note: When enrolling your Bank information to Zipi's Bank module. Zipi Does Not store the account and routing number in its system.
How to connect your bank with the banking module
1. Click on the Banking module
2. Click on Add Account.
3. After clicking on account a drop-down appears. Click on Select and connect.
4. This will now load the Search screen for the bank you wish to connect. Just click on "Continue"
Reminder: In case your bank is not listed. This process is complete. "If a bank is not listed then the user will need to enter by hand each bank transaction, or import bank statement CSV files manually."
If Bank found the next step will be to enter login credentials.
Note: The information that will be placed does not necessarily require your main bank account information. You can just create a sub-account specifically for Zipi transactions.
