  2. How to Setup dotloop For Agents

For your agents and other users to import and sync transactions via dotloop, the integration must be activated at the company level. Once the integration is activated, users such as agents will be able to set up their individual dotloop integrations.

  1. Go to the Company tab on the left-hand menu.

  2. Click Marketplace.

  3. Click Activate on the dotloop option.

You have now activated dotloop at the company level. You can now ask your agents to setup their individual dotloop integrations.

1.  Make sure that you are logged in your account and in the Company profile view.

2. Click on Your Profile (icon top right) then Apps.

  1. Find the Dotloop application and click Connect.

  2. Click Authorize on the next screen.

  3. Enter your Dotloop username and password.  PLEASE NOTE: You must use a unique set of Dotloop credentials for each Zipi user.  Users may not share a Dotloop username.

4. Just click on approve to move to the next screen.

5. Click on continue to move to a new sceen.

6.  Next is setting up Auto-Create Deals/Auto-sync.

Click on Save and Go to Zipi.  You have now connected your Dotloop integration and are ready to import and sync transactions.

Use this option if you are a buying agent who is making an offer to purchase a listing.

Listing for Sale                       <>           Listing (sale)

Use this option if you are a listing agent who is creating a listing for sale.

Listing for Lease                     <>           Landlord (rental)

Use this option if you are a listing agent or landlord creating a listing to lease.

Lease                                             <>           Tenant (rental)

Use this option if you are a buying agent who is making an offer to lease or rent a property.

Real Estate Other                  <>              Referral

Use this option if your transaction does not fit the standard listing, leasing, or renting types.

Other                                              <>             Broker Price Opinion (other)

Use this option for non-real estate loops. This selection, however, will have very limited role choices and loop details fields.

There are a few options to choose from, but depending on your choice of Transaction type, these options will change. Knowing which one to choose before making a selection is extremely important, as this selection can make some drastic changes to your loop. Below are the choices available for every transaction type. Under the proper loop set up, the status is actually used to make your loop searchable for other Dotloop users to submit offers directly to your loop.

 Dotloop Field & Status Mapping

For a user to sync a loop into Zipi the profile being used to sync must be designated as an 'INDIVIDUAL' (not a Team or Company profile) and the specified INDIVIDUAL profile MUST be designated as 'On My Team'

If a user does not have the 'On My Team' designation they will not be able to sync the loop/deal. If you would like to assign the user this designation, you can use the 'Add to my team' checkbox:
